Organizations running mission-critical Oracle databases are under growing pressure to modernize. They want the elasticity, AI services, and ecosystem reach of AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud without re-platforming their applications, sacrificing Oracle features, or signing up for years of risky migration work.

The catch is the operating model. AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud teams are world-class at their own platforms, but they are not Oracle Database experts. Customers regularly run into the same friction points:

  • Legacy Oracle estates nobody on the cloud team fully understands schemas, RAC clusters, Data Guard topologies, GoldenGate pipelines, and decades of PL/SQL.
  • Multicloud connectivity, identity federation, and networking that span Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and the hyperscaler's native services.
  • Autonomous Database provisioning, tuning, patching, backup, and disaster recovery that behave differently from generic managed databases.
  • Cloud providers and System Integrators that need an Oracle-savvy partner to round out their delivery team.
  • Migration plans that minimize downtime and protect existing Oracle license investments through Bring Your Own License (BYOL) and Oracle Support Rewards.

Without a partner who knows both Oracle and the target hyperscaler, projects stall, costs creep, and the promised benefits of multicloud get pushed out another quarter.

iVision Consulting plans, executes, and operates Oracle Autonomous Database migrations into AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. As a long-standing Oracle partner with deep public-cloud delivery experience, we sit in the seam between Oracle and the hyperscaler exactly where most projects need help.

We work three ways, depending on how your program is set up:

  • Direct delivery for the customer. We assess the existing Oracle estate, design the target Autonomous Database architecture in your chosen cloud, run the migration, and stay on for managed services.
  • Joint delivery with the cloud provider. We partner with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud account teams to provide the Oracle Database depth they don't staff in-house.
  • Subcontract or partner role for System Integrators. We plug into a prime SI's delivery team as the Oracle Autonomous Database specialists, so the SI can deliver a complete cloud transformation without scrambling for scarce Oracle skills.

The result is a migrated, optimized Autonomous Database environment running where you want it, with one partner accountable for the Oracle pieces from assessment through Day 2 operations.

Our Services

Multicloud Database Assessment

Discovery of the existing Oracle footprint: versions, editions, RAC and Data Guard topology, license position, schemas, workload patterns, and integration points. Each database is mapped to the right target service on the right hyperscaler, with sizing, networking, and TCO modeled before any work begins.

Target Architecture & Cloud Strategy

Reference architecture for Oracle Autonomous Database on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including ODB networks and VPC/VNet design, identity federation with IAM or Microsoft Entra ID, customer-managed keys, and disaster recovery topology aligned with Oracle Maximum Availability Architecture.

Zero-Downtime Database Migration

Execution using Oracle Zero Downtime Migration, Data Pump, GoldenGate, RMAN, and Data Guard, depending on workload tolerance for downtime. Includes cutover planning, fallback procedures, and post-migration validation.

Autonomous Database Provisioning & Tuning

Provisioning of Autonomous Database instances through the native AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud console; configuration of auto-scaling, backups, peer databases for cross-region disaster recovery, AI Vector Search, and OCI control-plane integrations. Workload-specific tuning for OLTP, data warehouse, and JSON workloads.

Day 2 Operations & Optimization

Ongoing managed services for the Autonomous Database environment: monitoring with Cloud Monitoring, Azure Monitor, or Amazon CloudWatch alongside OCI metrics; patch coordination, capacity and cost optimization, security posture review, and continuous performance tuning.

Partner-Mode Delivery for Cloud Providers & SIs

Embedded Oracle Autonomous Database expertise for hyperscaler professional-services teams and System Integrator primes. We supply the Oracle DBAs, Exadata architects, and migration leads that round out cloud-transformation engagements.

Oracle Database@AWS

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure runs inside AWS data centers, so Oracle Autonomous AI Database and Oracle Exadata Database Service on Dedicated Infrastructure are available natively in AWS. Customers procure through AWS Marketplace, draw down on existing AWS commitments, and integrate with services such as Amazon Bedrock, Amazon SageMaker, Amazon S3, Amazon EKS, and Amazon CloudWatch.

iVision helps customers migrate Oracle workloads to Autonomous Database on AWS with minimal application changes, full Oracle feature availability, and on-premises-equivalent performance and integrate Oracle data with AWS analytics and AI services through zero-ETL patterns.

Marketplace procurementPurchase via AWS Marketplace using existing AWS commitments and Oracle license benefits.
Native AWS integrationConnect to Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, S3, EKS, EventBridge, and VPC Lattice.
Same Exadata performanceLift-and-shift Exadata workloads with full feature availability and architectural compatibility.

Oracle Database@Azure

Oracle Database@Azure puts Oracle Cloud Infrastructure inside Microsoft Azure data centers. Customers provision Oracle Autonomous AI Database and Exadata Database Service from the native Azure portal and APIs, with low-latency, high-bandwidth connectivity from the database tier to applications running on Azure. Enterprise features such as Oracle RAC, Data Guard, GoldenGate, managed backups, and Zero Downtime Migration are supported, and the offering is eligible for Microsoft Azure Commit to Consume (MACC).

iVision delivers end-to-end Autonomous Database migrations into Azure, including Microsoft Entra ID federation with OCI IAM, Oracle Transparent Data Encryption keys managed in Azure Key Vault, and disaster recovery designs that traverse the Azure or OCI backbone.

Native Azure portalProvision and manage Oracle databases using the Azure portal, CLI, ARM, and Terraform.
MACC eligibleApply Oracle Database@Azure consumption against Microsoft Azure Commit to Consume.
Entra ID + Azure Key VaultFederate identity with OCI IAM and manage Oracle TDE master keys in Azure Key Vault.

Oracle Database@Google Cloud

Oracle Database@Google Cloud combines OCI and Google Cloud, with Exadata systems deployed inside Google Cloud data centers. Customers manage Autonomous AI Database, Exadata Database Service, Exascale Infrastructure, and Base Database Service from the Google Cloud console, gcloud CLI, or Terraform, and connect to Google services such as Vertex AI, Gemini, Google Kubernetes Engine, and Cloud Run.

iVision delivers Autonomous Database migrations into Google Cloud, ODB Network and VPC design, IAM role mapping, customer-managed encryption keys (CMEK), VPC Service Controls, cross-region disaster recovery with Data Guard peer databases, and Cloud Monitoring integration for unified observability.
